Pre-university training

The procedure for organizing pre-university training faculties, including medical universities, is determined by the Regulations on the Faculty of pre-university training, preparatory department, preparatory courses, approved by the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated July 21, 2011 No. 980.

Faculties of pre-university training, preparatory departments, preparatory courses function in all medical universities of the Republic of Belarus.

At the faculties of pre-university training, preparatory departments, preparatory courses of medical universities, educational programs are implemented aimed at studying the academic subjects necessary for admission to medical universities.

The faculties of pre-university training, preparatory departments, preparatory courses of medical universities accept persons with general secondary education, vocational education or secondary special education.

The faculties of pre-university training, preparatory departments, preparatory courses of medical universities are accepted:

  • Citizens of the Republic of Belarus;
  • foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Belarus;
  • foreign citizens and stateless persons who have been granted refugee status in the Republic of Belarus;
  • persons of Belarusian nationality who are citizens of foreign states or stateless persons permanently residing on the territory of foreign states;
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan.

Persons entering the faculties of pre-university training, preparatory departments, preparatory courses of medical universities, submit the following documents to the admissions committee:

  • application for admission to study in the prescribed form;
  • originals of the document on education and annexes to it;
  • originals of certificates of centralized testing conducted in the Republic of Belarus in the year of admission;
  • certificate of the results of the entrance examinations (for persons who passed the entrance examinations in educational institutions and did not pass the competition in the year of admission);
  • a medical certificate of health status in the form established by the Ministry of Health, issued by a public health institution at their place of residence (place of stay) or at their place of work (service);
  • documents confirming the right of the listener to benefits;
  • 6 photos 3 x 4 cm in size;
  • an identity document.

Orphans and children left without parental care, as well as persons from among orphans and children left without parental care are enrolled out of the competition.

The preferential right to enrollment with the same amount of points in the order of enumeration have:

  • disabled children under the age of eighteen, disabled persons of group I or II, except for persons whose disability occurred as a result of illegal actions, due to alcohol, narcotic, toxic intoxication, self-mutilation;
  • persons who are family members of persons listed in sub-paragraphs 3.2, 3.4 and 3.7 of paragraph 3, paragraph 10 and sub-paragraphs 12.2 and 12.3 of paragraph 12 of Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus dated June 14, 2007 "On State social benefits, rights and guarantees for certain categories of citizens";
  • persons specified in paragraph 7 of Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 6, 2009 "On social protection of citizens affected by the Chernobyl disaster, other radiation accidents";
  • disabled persons of group III, except for persons whose disability occurred as a result of illegal actions, due to alcohol, narcotic, toxic intoxication, self-mutilation;
  • persons specified in paragraphs 1 of Articles 13, 21-23 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Social Protection of citizens affected by the Chernobyl disaster, other radiation accidents";
  • persons from families with three or more minor children.

Enrollment of students to the faculty of pre-university training, preparatory department, preparatory courses on a paid basis is carried out based on a contract concluded in accordance with the established procedure on paid services in the field of education.
